What do you like best about the Willow Project? Willow Project is continuously a great learning experience. I have attended clinic several times as of this point and each time I have encountered members of the community we serve who have very admirable and intriguing life experiences to share. What is your most memorable Willow Project experience? I have to agree with many of the other members that just the first encounter with a patient is enough to touch your heart. During the Coat Drive this year, a woman who was currently living in the Salvation Army told me her story. She reminded me of how fragile even the most successful life can be and of how it can slip away with a blink of an eye. What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you? To me, involvement in the Willow Project means being able to be directly involved in making such a great difference while simultaneously learning skills that I know I can apply now and in the future. Give an interesting story or fact about yourself? I know more about Hollywood’s counterpart Bollywood than I do of Hollywood itself. I have grown up watching Indian movies and my love for their dramatic sappiness and random musical dance sequences continues to this day. What fruit are you and why? Well I asked around and came to a consensus that I am a tangerine. Tangerines are just as delicious as oranges with the advantage that they are simple and uncomplicated (no knives or sharp nails required). I would like to believe that I am just that. What do you really think about Mayha and Fallon? Mayha and Fallon are both very knowledgeable leaders. Their personalities definitely counterbalance each other to create a fun yet efficient environment. |
