What do you like best about the Willow Project?

I really enjoy the people I get to work with, including both my fellow Willowers as well as the patients we get to see.

What is your most memorable Willow Project experience?

By far my most memorable experience was when I was doing intake for the first time.  I was so nervous my hands were shaking and I couldn’t get the thermometer cover to work! The patient I was helping was having a very bad day and was NOT happy that I was taking so long to take her blood pressure either.  In the end, I am glad to have experienced it during my first intake.  I like to think of it as a “trial by fire” that everyone goes through at some point.

What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you?

Being a part of the Willow Project has opened my eyes to a community that really is in need of our help.  My experiences here have encouraged me to pursue public health and have helped me define my career goals.

Give an interesting story or fact about yourself?

When I was 16 years old, I was lucky enough to be in a community chamber orchestra (I play the French horn).  We toured Ireland for two weeks and I got to play concerts in famous cathedrals and old castles.  It was so much fun and a great learning experience.

What fruit are you and why?

I would have to say that I am a bunch of grapes.  For no specific reason other than the fact that my family grows and sells about 40 different varieties of them.  NO….I can’t get you a bottle of wine…they aren’t THOSE types of grapes. Sorry!.

What do you really think about Mayha and Fallon?

Fallon and Mayha are fantastic Co-Managers.  They put in so much time and effort to keep the clinic running smoothly.
