What do you like best about the Willow Project?

Besides assisting the homeless community in the Sacramento region, what I like best about the Willow Project are the members. Without the rest of the team, all of our goals would have been difficult to achieve, everyone puts a lot of time and effort into the clinic, and it wouldn’t be what it is today without its dedicated members.

What is your most memorable Willow Project experience?

The most memorable Willow Project experience to date had to be the past Coat Drive. I was helping an elderly woman pick out a jacket and the look on her face was priceless. You could tell that she deeply appreciated everything the members have done for the homeless community, and her thanks meant the world.

What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you?

Being a part of the Willow Project simply means to be dedicated in making a change in someone’s life while working as a team. It is such a rewarding experience after a day at clinic, or at another one of our events such as the Coat Drive, and really see how you have impacted another’s life. On the lighter side, being a part of the Willow Project also means that you are in store to have some fun and make new friends. Everyone is so friendly and all carry a great sense of humor which makes working at the clinic that much better.

Give an interesting story or fact about yourself?

I have a passion for traveling!

What fruit are you and why?

I am a banana because I took a quiz online and that’s what it told me. Its reasoning, “You are really funny and never let anything get in the way of a joke. You make your friends laugh. Your natural enemy is a lemon."

What do you really think about Mayha and Fallon?

What I REALLY think of Mayha and Fallon is that they are simply wonderful individuals. They take such pride in what they do and are completely committed to making this clinic be the best it can possibly be.  They both have an excellent sense of humor and always produce a positive work environment for all the members.
