What do you like best about the Willow Project?

I enjoy the close interaction that we get to have with people who seek help from our clinic and the impact that we make on so many lives every clinic we hold, but what I like best is that we offer a listening ear to patients who really just need someone to talk to as well as receive medical care. For some, having a person to talk to is their only chief complaint.

What is your most memorable Willow Project experience?

My most memorable Willow Project experience was my very first intake experience with a patient.  I thought I would be nervous, but once I starting talking to them and hearing about the patient’s chief complaint and past medical history everything just flowed into place.  Everything I learned in training to take vitals became second nature and I loved being able to take part in their medical screening. I received praise from that patient every time I saw him for my help several clinics afterwards.

What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you?

It means being part of a team of extraordinary people who are all working together to achieve a common goal.

Give an interesting story or fact about yourself?

I went to Ghana this past summer, which had an immense influence on me to want to be part of the Willow Project.

What fruit are you and why?

I would be a grape (the red kind because they’re sweet) because I can be me and only me, but I’m usually with a bunch of others because I love my friends and have many of them.  Also, I can compliment others….like wine…and cheese!

What do you really think about Mayha and Fallon?

Love ‘em….Can’t get enough of ‘em!
